Working Update, Arcade Cabinet

I have now been employed as an Electrical Engineer-in-Training with Startco Engineering for just a little over a year.  I thought since I have now had time to settle in to my new job, that I should take some time to tell everyone my thoughts.

Working at Startco is a lot different from where I previously worked.  The company is smaller and this means my role is to start a project, design the hardware, software, and bring the concept into production.

Wow have I ever made myself busy!

I have now committed to more stuff then I ever thought possible.  I thought it would be fun to layout all of the items I have committed to over the past few months.

Sasktel: Music/Videos/Photos on Samsung Instinct

 

Sasktel introduced and heavily marketed the Samsung Instinct over the last several months.  You get a touch screen, video playback, MP3 playback, full web-browser and more!  With the only catch being that Sasktel limits you on a couple of items:

Election's Suck!

Well another election has come and gone and nothing has changed.  I for one am very happy that the Conservatives did not get a majority government, but this is for selfish reasons.  I do not want a DMCA like act to pass in Canada and the Conservatives have been trying to get similar legislation through parliament, that would seriously effect my time shifting of televisions shows. 

Two kinds of annoying drivers - A Rant -

Alright let me warn you, if you do not wish to read a blog entry about
someone complaining about other drivers then just move along now.

So it was the thanks-giving long weekend here and we went to Kindersley to spend time with family.  On the way back home we hit the wonderful long weekend traffic.  I now know of the two most annoying kinds of drivers:
